Submission Guidelines

Basic Information & Article Topics
The Magick Words is published seasonally following the eight sabbats. Our newsletter currently is received by between 80 and 100 individuals and families across the Florida and U.S. Each newsletter is between thirteen and fifteen pages long. We except submissions from across the country, news stories both local to Florida and National Pagan News.

Seasonal, articles, poetry, recipes and stories are always welcome. We also like to include more articles on other issues important to the Pagan Community. Any article, well-thought out opinion about any issue effecting the community is welcome, including Personal Experience; How-To; Inspirational; History; Opinion; Seasonal; "Aftermath"; Investigative/News; Human Interest; Profile; or perhaps some category that cannot be defined.

Please note that we are working on several editions of the Magick Words at once, therefore we will acccept articles well in advance of the posted deadlines for submissions.

Articles
Articles should between.500 and 1500 words. Longer Articles will be considered on a case by case basis.

Cut and paste your article into the body of the e-mail.

Submission of an article does not guarantee publication.
Please spell check and proof read all submissions.
Do not indent paragraphs. Please remember to capitalize Witch, Wicca, Druid and Pagan.


Please put your name and e-mail address on upper left corner of document and the topic name, title suggestion and approximate word count in upper right corner. You will be informed via email whether your article has been excepted. If you are not a WRCF member, a courtesy copy of the newsletter will be sent to you, please let us know what format (paper or electronic) and where you like us to send it.
Authors may also wish to include a short biographical statement, that might include magical experience or tradition, their occupation, their current projects, articles they have already published, their likes and dislikes, or whatever else they want readers to know.
Please be sure to credit any outside sources. Formal bibliographic notation is not necessary, but a book or article's general publication information, so readers can find it, is desirable.

Any graphics or images should also be credited. Please contact us for information on how to send graphics.
